Custom furniture and production work

Between the design intent and the finished piece.

Custom projects rarely follow a straight line from drawing to delivery. They require technical understanding, production experience and someone who can keep all the moving parts aligned.

I bring design teams, procurement professionals and manufacturers together to move projects forward — from early development through production and final delivery.

Work & experience.

A selection of projects involving custom furniture, millwork, and product development.

Atlanta Hospitality Project01
Hospitality · Custom furniture$500K project

Atlanta Hospitality Project

Coordinated the production and delivery of more than 600 custom furniture pieces for a major hospitality project in Atlanta, manufactured in Nicaragua and shipped to the US.

Managed the details connecting design intent to factory execution, including technical coordination, production follow-through, packing, and international logistics.

Hamptons Residential02
Residential · Furniture & millwork$350K project

Hamptons Residential

Coordinated a package of custom furniture and millwork for a private residence in the Hamptons. The project brought together solid teak furniture manufactured in Nicaragua, Italian stone for two large dining tables, and French leather upholstery produced in-house.

Managed technical and production details across different materials and suppliers, helping keep the pieces aligned with the design intent through fabrication and installation. On-site involvement during installation helped ensure the finished work came together as intended.

Recording Studio Furniture

Took a client's concept model through to finished furniture for a private recording studio belonging to a Grammy-winning music producer. I owned the process end to end, including engineering, material sourcing, budgeting, fabrication, and delivery.

The work involved translating an initial concept into a buildable, costed product while managing the technical and practical decisions along the way. It demonstrates my ability to take ownership of custom furniture development from early design through final delivery.

Furniture production and manufacturing

Good design needs a practical path to production.

Custom furniture projects involve more than good drawings and a capable manufacturer. Technical details, material choices, production constraints and coordination all have to come together.

My engineering and manufacturing background means I can work across those disciplines — helping resolve technical challenges early, communicate clearly with production teams, and keep the original design intent intact as a project moves into production.

From Toronto, based in Central America and working internationally, I bring a practical understanding of both North American project requirements and regional manufacturing.

Experience on both sides of the drawing.

My career has taken me from mechanical engineering and product design to CNC manufacturing, furniture production and project management.

I've worked in fabrication shops, developed manufacturing capabilities, managed production teams and taken complex custom furniture projects from initial concepts through to finished installations.

Today, I bring that experience to independent project work, partnering with FF&E procurement firms and design studios that need experienced, hands-on support to deliver custom furniture and millwork.
