STEREO GUITAR AMP

ROLE: PERSONAL DESIGN PROJECT

As a guitarist, I have always been fascinated by stereo guitar effects on the market. So, I started to explore what a stereo guitar amplifier might look like and how I could provide a unique stereo experience for guitar players.

Inspired by my Fender Hotrod Deluxe, I landed on a combo amplifier with a small, flat section in the center of the front panel which holds an 8” and two 6” drivers, and two angled panels holding 10” drivers.

The amp features three distinct channels (left, right, and center) and a switch that allows the user to choose between stereo with a summed mono center or full mono. To better handle the high frequencies often produced by guitar effect pedals, a tunable crossover could be incorporated, making use of the smaller 6” drivers.
